("FMH") was established in April 1997 by a group of lawyers,
each specializing in different fields of law. Its present
clients are mostly foreign investors and multinational
corporations engaged in business in the Philippines.
All the present partners of the firm were formerly with the law firm of Quisumbing Torres & Evangelista (the associated law firm of Baker & Mckenzie in the Philippines) where they had extensive experience in dealing with foreign clients engaged in businesses such as construction, manufacturing, telecommunications, trading, banking and securities/financing. They each received training in specialized legal topics both in the Philippines and in the different offices of Baker & Mckenzie including its New York and London offices.
